Early Carthusian Writings

Compiled in honour of the 9th centenary of St Bruno's death 6th October 1101. These 83 pages contain the letters of St Bruno , the Letter on the Solitary Life by Bl Guigo, fifth Prior of La Grande Chartreuse and the Scale of the Cloister by Guigo II, 9th Prior of La Grande Chartreuse.
A painting of St Bruno's death is at the beginning and an original pencil drawing by a novice is at the back.
