The monks lead an austere life of strict poverty, but the maintenance of the extensive monastery is costly. As the community has no income, any donation is gratefully received. We remember our benefactors daily in our prayers.

All donations go to supporting the upkeep of daily living for the community as well as the building works around the monastery. In particular, we have undertaken the restoration of Parknowle, a listed building that was on the brink of collapse, in which the community meets.

In August 2025, we need over £1M to complete the work externally and refurbish it internally. Any donation, however small, is welcome as it can help replace a slate or a rotten beam.
